DAICHI branded fans are Dual Ball Bearing Fans (Some are sleeve brearing). 
CERAMICA branded Fans use the newer Ceramic Bearing Technology. 
CERAMICA: Ceramic materials have come a long way since their discovery last century and the development costs have fallen dramatically due to special low cost techniques. New production developments have allowed Ceramica to develop a process of injection molding of ceramic sleeves using zirconia powder together with an adhesive to produce a very strong, flexible and durable ceramic sleeve that replaces the common plastic sleeve and/or metal bearing. These new, cost effective ceramic bearings are claimed to be far superior to the conventional ball bearing and economical sleeve bearing types of fans, offering greater performance with less noise and a longer service life of an average of 300,000 Hours!. 
DAICHI: These fans are of high grade with extended life using dual ball bearing systems for greater reliability with an average service life of over 50,000 hours.

DC type cooling fans are essential for many different types of cooling applications, but they do have a relatively short life expectancy when used on products that are designed to operate continuously in hot or hostile environments. One of their major limitations comes from the bearing system within the fan mechanism. Generally, there are several options of bearings to consider. Sleeve type bearings, with an average life expectancy of 30,000Hr. Single ball-bearing or a double ball bearing types. The double has an extended life expectancy of 50,000 Hr. (Note that these figures will drop if the fan is exposed to high ambient temperatures, corrosive or hostile environments). Noise levels on these metal type bearing fans can also be a downfall, as it will increase in loudness as operational time gets longer. Ceramica fans offer a vast improvement to these systems with their new range of Ceramic Sleeve Bearing Fans which offer the advantages of all systems plus even longer life by using new materials technology.
