Timing Adjustment Guide

The XeRun V10 G3 offers wide mechanical timing adjustability to help racers fine-tune motor behavior based on their application and track conditions.

• Default Timing Settings:

  • Stock: 40°

  • Modified: 30°

Note: Increasing timing boosts RPM but also raises motor temperature and reduces efficiency. Always ensure your ESC is properly tuned and your gear ratio is appropriate before increasing timing.

Post-Tuning Temperature Monitoring:

• Use a temperature gun, Hobbywing LCD programmer, or the Hobbywing WiFi Link App to monitor motor temps.

• If overheating occurs, allow the motor to cool, then reduce timing or adjust the Final Drive Ratio (FDR).
