Timing Adjustment Guide

• Default Mechanical Timing:

  • Stock Motors: 40°

  • Modified Motors: 30°

• Important Setup Tips:

  • Increasing timing boosts RPM but also raises motor temps and lowers efficiency.

  • Always ensure your ESC is correctly programmed and your gear ratio is appropriate.

  • Monitor temperatures with an infrared thermometer, Hobbywing LCD programmer, or WiFi Link App.

If motor temperatures exceed safe limits after a full run, allow the motor to cool, reduce timing, or increase the Final Drive Ratio (FDR), then test again.
