Timing Adjustment Tips

Increasing timing can boost RPM, but also increases motor heat and reduces efficiency. Before making timing changes:

• Ensure your ESC is properly programmed

• Match your setup with the correct gear ratio (FDR)

• Monitor motor temps using:

  • Infrared thermometer

  • HobbyWing LCD Programmer

  • HobbyWing WiFi Link App

If temperatures become too high:

• Stop usage immediately

• Allow the motor to cool

• Adjust timing or increase gear ratio before continuing
